Could there really be such a thing – a genuine Left-Hand Path icon or one who walks the path of being 100% on the Right-Hand Path? Many have become conditioned into thinking to \u201cBE\u201d a representation of either they exclusively have to walk either on the Left-Hand or Right-Hand Path. There\u2019s a saying… \u201cThe pot calling the kettle black\u201d which generally translates to \u201cI am accusing you of that which I am equally guilty of\u201d with that said; Most will admit that there\u2019s a very thin line to none, and some closer to one extreme than the other. Perhaps we should resolve to dissolve the divide because as you\u2019ll\u00a0 find as you read further, each begets a two-fold stance. After all, the birth of an intent from one path is easily crossed over as being the child of another\u2026 Never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was legal\u201d and upheld on one side as right\u2026correct. \u201cNothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity\u201d – Martin Luther King, Jr.<\/p>\n
Within the past circles and the existing communities of the occult, the terms \u201cRight-Hand Path\u201d and \u201cLeft-Hand Path\u201d or RHP\/LHP for have long been coined as either white or black magic. To the public, depending on one\u2019s belief, neither of the two have been referred as different but automatically dismissed as taboo, sinister and just pure evil. However, within self proclaimed enlightened communities (on both sides) there have been continuous snobbery, prejudice and immature behaviour that has caused a huge divide if not a huge stagnation to actually spreading the hidden or in better terms found knowledge.<\/p>\n
The outside labelling followers of the occult perceive ‘evil’ as the result of ones\u2019 will-power intersecting another\u2019s\u2019 will-power \u2013 but isn\u2019t this exercised in many instances in life be it from an enforced or subtle approach?. Fundamentally whatever you do, you do for survival fulfilling your personal needs so truly, what is good or evil and is there a difference of the two based perspective? A Will exists in different degrees and in different ways so ultimately there can\u2019t be a universal decision on what is white or black, good or evil…RHP or LHP.<\/p>\n
Let me move over to the inner community\u2026the communities of both RHP and LHP:<\/p>\n
When I asked my general audience what could I do better to service them, and provide them content that they felt was worthy of further content that they could learn from I received the following comments:<\/p>\n

(RHP) Right-hand Path\/Good\/White Magic\/
\nSlandered as \u201cFluff\u201d and cynically called New Age by opposition:<\/p>\nThe Right-Hand Path (RHP) is often defined as being a belief system or religion where a spiritual goal, state of mind (enlightenment), in many instances merging with the ‘God-source’, or the afterlife (as a prize for good spiritual behaviour whilst alive) is the ultimate goal. Contending to moral justice. In general, one can view the Right-Hand Path as a set of guidelines for behaviour and spiritual management to set up optimal conditions for the next life. The Right-Hand Path is often held to be that where a spiritual or supernatural force is necessary to embrace or worship to attain happiness or enlightenment. Harming none, not against another\u2019s will and so on\u2026The mainstream religions are often classified as Right-Hand Paths, for example, Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, although clearly some aspects of Gnosticism are somewhat a Right Handed Path (in terms of the goal of Gnosticism to rejoin with God and escape the physical world and cyclic rebirth). Those that follow a stereotypical Right-Hand Path successfully could be said to be humble, relaxed, almost ‘high’, and feeling fulfilled on a deep level. Within Witchcraft or amongst those that learn more towards the New Age moment it is the practise of good will of \u201cpositive energy\u2026.more or less having a \u201cfeel good\u201d and positive outlook and practise towards self, others and natural overall. Whilst the goal of mainstream religions may be to ‘extinguish’ the self, and to experience the spiritual realm whilst alive and after death of the physical body, clearly this is not attained by the vast majority of adherents in their lifetimes, but is an ideal of perfection that they wish to try to achieve to enrich their lives.<\/p>\n

(LHP) Left-hand Path\/Evil\/Black Arts\/ Black Magic:
\nSlandered under one topic of Satanism, Dark Arts, Evil,<\/p>\nThe term Left-Hand Path (LHP) originates from Hindu Tantra:’Tantra is a set of esoteric Indian traditions with roots in Hinduism and later Buddhism (which is a separate Dharma formed from Hinduism). Tantra is often divided by its practitioners into two different paths: dakshinachara and vamachara, translated as Right-Hand Path and Left-Hand Path respectively. Dakshinachara consists of traditional Hindu practices such as asceticism and meditation, while Vamachara also includes ritual practices that conflict with mainstream Hinduism, such as sexual rituals, consumption of alcohol and other intoxicants, animal sacrifice, and flesh-eating. The two paths are viewed by Tantrists as equally valid approaches to enlightenment. Vamachara, however, is considered to be the faster and more dangerous of the two paths, and is not suitable for all practitioners.<\/p>\n
Modern usage of the term Left-Hand Path often refers to those belief systems and religions that see themselves as diametrically opposed to mainstream religions, the ‘darker’ religions, choosing often to use inverted symbols, such as inverted cross and inverted pentagrams (e.g. Satanism). Examples of those religions and groups that label themselves as following the ‘Left-Hand Path’ including Satanism (Theistic\/LeVey\/Setianism\/Polytheistic), Gnostic Luciferianism, Luciferianism, Ordo Templi Orientis (Typhonian), Dragon Rouge, Dark Paganism etc.<\/p>\n
In Practise:
\nThe Left-Hand Path could be considered to be about philosophy, wisdom and illumination (illuminism). It is often associated with hedonism, sex, gratification of the senses, dark magic, excesses in many areas of life, materialism, apathy, pride, contrarianism, a desire for self-power, and drug use; sometimes power over others. It often embodies the concept of Nietzsche\u2019s Power to Will. Defined as self-actualisation, self-deification and the preservation of individuality. It is the pursuit of the self. Self-deification has many connotations, and can mean different things to different people, e.g. an ego trip; gaining psychological, magical and spiritual power through occult ritual (witchcraft), conditioning and symbolism; taking on more qualities and spiritual power of the Pane theistic deity ( e.g. God or Satan); learning to use the gifts from God, i.e. healing power, channelling and building Qi etc.; gaining insight into God and Gnosis in order to later join with a god\/ or God but reaping the benefits of wisdom in the interim, etc. The Left-Hand Path holds the premise that one is reliant upon oneself for one’s happiness and fulfilment. It represents the interests, rights and freedoms of the individual over the collective (and not usually directly at the expense of the collective or of other individuals).<\/p>\nIf paths and all that follows under the occult is to be accepted then we must all act as we call ourselves \u201cthe enlightened\u201d, “the wise ones” and so on. One intent can be set out to be good however bad on the receiving end of another crossing it completely over to another path. As we humankind mostly live on an ego trip thinking that we know it all, I know it will be a very long road to truly living up to what we inwardly would like to demonstrate.\u00a0 However, whilst we are conscious of this repetitive fault, I encourage you to invoke your WIll to NOT let yourself fall short of staying in this mess that has no business being present in the 21st<\/sup> century!<\/p>\n
The question still remains\u2026 is there a difference between the RHP and LHP? Is there a Right and a Wrong\u2026a Good and Evil? It solely depends on the perspective of the many faceted position you are coming from at a given point and time: so with this there can only be one conclusion that there is no difference when looking at the complete sphere but to know that it is forever turning only meaning no one perspective remains true.\u00a0\u2666<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
