What is a Dream?

Firstly, let's explore the clinical explanation of what dreams are: Expressions of thoughts, feelings, the awareness's-that's represented through the creation of sensory environments in our minds. The creation of your dreams are caused by stimulation of the sensory cortex, that occurs naturally during REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep.

Now let's explore the metaphysical interpretation of what your dreams mean: how to understand them and how to allow them to help you in your waking hours:

We know in the wonderful world of occult and metaphysics that our physical being is just a temporary shell to inhibit our earthly environment… a shell that in the spirit world is not needed… moreover, during a night's sleep our body's functions adjust. The body temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, blood cell count, metabolism, kidney function, among other unconscious physiological activities will adjust themselves to a realm of rest. Reality is not what it seems, and dreams provoke this theory to be true. We dream to reconnect into our spiritual psyche. To digest both what we have learned in our physical world and to receive new messages and lessons from our spirit world. Think of your dream realm as your mental - physical state of digestion and dreams as the distribution of information directing you to the interpretations to a higher you.

What to do with your Dreams

Dare to look into your subconscious mind during your dream realm and actually experience your dream. Can you smell, feel and touch? How do your senses interpret this form of your mental reality? 1.Chuang Tzu BC.369-c286 wrote in his proverb of the butterfly how this confused man even back then, about one's reality… Explore the possibility that indeed this is all "real" and NOT a stimulation of the sensory cortex thus you will now subconsciously translate this into your waking conscious as an actual experience. Hence learning from your higher being.

First of all start keeping a Dream Diary of your dreams. Log in the date, time and description of your dream. Give your own analysis and compare with reference materials. Usually all dreams have a spiritual frame of within3 to 7 days to transpire into meaning. Be sure to jot down when an episode comes to pass in your waking hours that closely resembles the message/lessons behind your dream(s).

A Dream glossary/dictionary is a respective consensus of dream symbolism from the psyche to the physical as a whole interrupted and transferred in legible format - driven by both folklore and legend.. By using your Dream Diary (above) you will develop your own analysis of what your dreams mean.

Dream Power
You have more power than you think. From your conscious to your subconscious mind down to the deepest level of sleep your will can influence your dreams.. Why can't you win your pass your exam? Many people dream of falling and some of flying. Some dream of nightmares, some even laugh in their sleep, spouses cheating on them or even being with that special someone, to aspiring to great leadership. Please note that what the literal meaning for fantasy (not to be confused with "dream" or "dreamer") means imagination. Fantasies is an unrealistic or improbable supposition. The universe is granting you a pass through it's door of lessons to approach what may "seem" unrealistic. "You see things that are and say 'Why?' But I dream things that never were and say "Why not?"-- George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950),

E-Z Steps to making your dreams reality!

Much to knowing something is understanding how to work "with" it. Below are some easy steps to do but require discipline, however is very assured towards clarification of your dreams and to encourage your spiritual growth:

  1. If you want to turn your dreams you must first learn not to be co-dependent on external information and rely more on the spirit "within" you for direction along with the messages/lessons that are given to you through both your conscious and subconscious mind.

  2. Reoccurring dreams happen when the lessons are not understood. Patiently digest each element in your dream and learn from it. See this dream through instead of dismissing it.

  3. Slumber into sleep to mind your answers. This is not to say sleep on the job but as the saying that goes…"when the student is ready the teacher will appear". So too will your messages/lessons within your dream realm.

  4. For dreams that appear unpleasant see them through. Do not be afraid. Remember if you can that you are in charge and reverse your outcome. Remember that you can do anything within your subconscious realm, your dream realm. Induce yourself into the same scenario if you do not conquer or cannot manipulate your outcome to find out why. Remember that your dream realm has does not hold true to our natural law (such as gravity etc.) - there is no reason unless it is your preference for an undesirable outcome.

  5. Dare to create your scenario and balance into your waking life the cycles to accomplish your dream(s)

  6. When working with symbols such as omens etc. Know that warnings allow you to avoid, hinder, or change entirely else it would have never been revealed to you!

Lastly to sleeping is a time for the body to repair itself. Just as a machine would to cool down else it would burn out. Enjoy your sleep. But remember that everything in life has it's reason as nothing happens by accident, enjoy the luster of life to it's fullest!
